Talk:Marine plywood
Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging Marine plywood into Plywood. As per the lead sentence in Marine plywood, marine plywood is just a type of plywood that's treated to survive in high-moisture environments. To me, this rates at most a separate section in the Plywood article, not its own whole article. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 20:00, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
After three weeks with no interest, I have merged this page into Plywood. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 02:08, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Things to think about
[edit]It's not just the rotting of the wood, it's the resistance of the glues to moisture. Historically, that was the big problem with wooded structure. Separate article or not, some coverage of the history would be a good thing —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.110.182.253 (talk) 06:54, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
